2026 Show Cancelled

Boyle Musical Society recently announced that it had planned to stage the musical 'The Clockmaker’s Daughter' this November. However, due to a change in personal circumstances affecting a key member of our production team, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's show.

We extend our full support and very best wishes to our director Vivienne, her husband John and their family.

Organising a production that meets the high standards now expected of BMS is a complex and time-consuming process. At this point in time, with rights secured and all arrangements in place, we would normally be preparing for rehearsals to begin. Unfortunately, given how late it is in the year, starting over is not feasible.

Consequently, we are momentarily stopping the pendulum for 'The Clockmaker’s Daughter' and will not be staging a full musical in 2026.

We plan to revisit the show in 2027.

Over the years Boyle Musical Society has presented many exciting shows and worked with many amazing people. From our very first performance 'The White Horse Inn' to our latest performance 'Curtains', each one holds fond memories for everyone who was a part of each production.

Every year since 1984, the town of Boyle has shown up for our annual productions and made each one more memorable and enjoyable than the last. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our members, volunteers, committee, sponsors, cast and audience.

We, the Boyle Musical Society committee would like to extend a very sincere thanks to those from Boyle and beyond, who attend our shows in such large numbers. As our audience, you are the heartbeat of Boyle Musical Society and your cheers, applause and presence every night adds the final layer of enchantment to our performances.

We greatly appreciate every person who has been a part of our Society, audience, and performances and helped us get to where we are now! Thank you! We look forward to being on stage with you again soon!
